Desaprender no es borrar lo que sabemos. Es revisar lo que damos por sentado. Es cuestionar las lógicas que ya no encajan con el presente. Es atrevernos a mirar con humildad lo que antes creíamos intocable. Y eso implica incomodidad, porque exige reconocer que hay cosas que funcionaban… pero que ya no sirven.
El futuro no será para quienes más aprendan, sino para quienes se atrevan a desaprender más rápido. Para quienes no se enamoren de sus métodos, ni se queden atrapados en sus éxitos pasados. Para quienes sepan soltar una herramienta cuando ya no resuelve lo que importa.
Y en esto, Recursos Humanos debe dar el ejemplo. No podemos pedir evolución si seguimos anclados a los mismos indicadores, los mismos formatos, las mismas conversaciones estandarizadas. No podemos liderar la transformación si nuestras prácticas no se cuestionan, si no nos preguntamos qué parte del sistema ya no sirve, aunque haya funcionado durante años.
Desaprender requiere valentía. Porque implica decir: esto ya no basta. Y abrir espacio para otra manera de hacer, de pensar, de escuchar. Para conversaciones nuevas. Para estructuras más humanas. Para culturas que premien no solo al que acierta, sino al que se atreve a cambiar de opinión.
Lo más transformador que puede hacer un equipo de RRHH hoy no es añadir más procesos. Es tener el coraje de revisar los que ya tiene. Y eso empieza por aceptar que no estamos aquí para preservar, sino para repensar.
Las organizaciones que avanzan no son las que más acumulan conocimiento, sino las que mejor sueltan lo que ya no necesitan. Y en ese ejercicio de desapego, RRHH puede ser el faro que guía, no porque tiene todas las respuestas, sino porque se atreve a hacerse nuevas preguntas.
Desaprender es renunciar a la comodidad del piloto automático para conquistar la lucidez de lo relevante.
