Spain 2025 – Corporate Sustainability Forum’, organizado por Forética.
El encuentro reunió a referentes nacionales e internacionales en sostenibilidad, junto a
directivos empresariales y representantes de la administración pública.
Madrid, 16 de septiembre de 2025.- Forética ha celebrado una nueva edición de su evento anual ‘ESG Spain 2025: Corporate Sustainability Forum’. Un foro que, tras trece ediciones, se ha consolidado como el encuentro empresarial de referencia en materia de sostenibilidad en España y que ha contado con más de 350 asistentes. Cuestiones clave como la geopolítica y su impacto en la acción empresarial, la gobernanza en tiempos de incertidumbre, la transformación tecnológica y la inteligencia artificial como palancas de sostenibilidad, y la urgencia climática y social en el centro de las estrategias corporativas han sido los temas centrales del evento.
Germán Granda, director general de Forética: En el contexto de incertidumbre geopolítica, climática y social, la sostenibilidad se convierte en una estrategia clave para garantizar futuro y competitividad.
Soledad Nuñez, subgobernadora del Banco de España: La gobernanza es clave para la buena gestión de las entidades. Por ello, el Consejo de Administración es el responsable último de integrar la estrategia general de los riesgos derivados del cambio climático y deterioro medioambiental según su materialidad. Asimismo, esperamos que el Consejo incorpore estos riesgos de manera adecuada a la organización de la entidad.
Rafael García, viceconsejero de Medio Ambiente, Agricultura y Ordenación del Territorio de la Comunidad de Madrid: La Comunidad de Madrid trabaja en un modelo que combina desarrollo económico con sostenibilidad, con la mitad de su territorio protegido y medidas para mejorar la calidad del aire y avanzar en descarbonización y movilidad eléctrica. Este enfoque se apoya en la colaboración público-privada y en la innovación tecnológica para impulsar soluciones más eficientes y responder a los retos ambientales.
Entre las personalidades destacadas que intervinieron este año en el foro se encuentran Kate Frisby, analista legal de la Comisión Europea; Alessandra Fajardo, directora de Sostenibilidad del Consejo Empresarial Brasileño para el Desarrollo Sostenible (CEBDS); Gefei Yin, fundador de GoldenBee; Filippo Veglio, Head of Social & Environmental Sustainability de la UEFA; Miriam Zaitegui, directora del Programa de España de la European Climate Foundation (ECF); Ko Barret, secretaria general adjunta de la Organización Meteorológica Mundial (OMM); Dan Ioschpe, Champion de Alto Nivel de la COP30; Eli Pinedo, medallista olímpica de balonmano y embajadora de Healthy cities y Alberto Granados, presidente de Forética y del Consejo Empresarial Español para el Desarrollo Sostenible.
En el evento también participaron altos representantes de compañías que analizaron las tendencias presentes y futuras más importantes en los ámbitos social, ambiental y de buen gobierno, con el
propósito de establecer las bases para alcanzar un futuro sostenible. Entre ellos: Javier Bardají,
consejero delegado de Atresmedia; Severiano Solana, director de Estrategia y Seguimiento de
Sostenibilidad en CaixaBank; Dorleta Vicente, directora de Asuntos Legales y ESG de Ecoembes;
Daniel Fernández, director de ESG, Comunicación, Regulación y RR. II. de ENGIE; Alberto Zamora,
cofundador y CEO de Osapiens; Patricia Dueñas, Global Lead Circular Economy de Iberostar;
Catherine Cummings, directora de Sostenibilidad y RR. II. de Sanitas; o Ángel Pérez, fundador y
socio director de Transcendent. Todos ellos compartieron cómo están integrando la sostenibilidad
en sus modelos de negocio, acelerando la transición energética y climática, y generando impacto
positivo en el ámbito social y económico.
Temas clave como el papel de la inteligencia artificial en el desarrollo sostenible, el impacto de la
innovación tecnológica en la trazabilidad y la transparencia, y la necesidad de construir ciudades
más saludables y equitativas a través de la colaboración público-privada fueron los que más se
analizaron en el foro. El evento fue clausurado por Antonio Budia, presidente de la Junta Directiva
de Forética.
Su Majestad el Rey Felipe VI ha presidido el Comité de Honor de esta 13a edición de ESG Spain, integrado por los presidentes y CEOs que componen el Consejo Empresarial Español para el Desarrollo Sostenible, junto a altos representantes institucionales.
