Crece la tendencia de sistemas de ahorro mediante retribución flexible en respuesta al tope de 1.500 euros deducibles de los planes individuales.
La preocupación por la sostenibilidad del sistema público de pensiones y el envejecimiento poblacional está obligando a muchas empresas a replantearse su papel en la previsión social.
Sin embargo, según el VIII Estudio sobre la Situación de las Pensiones en España, elaborado por KPMG Abogados, únicamente el 27,41% de las empresas encuestadas cuenta con al menos un plan de jubilación para su plantilla, cifra prácticamente estancada respecto al 27,8% del año anterior.
Álvaro Granado, director del área Fiscal de Pensiones de KPMG Abogados, señala que “el desarrollo de planes de previsión social complementaria sigue siendo clave para reforzar el sistema de pensiones en España. La reforma legal ha dado un paso adelante, pero su implantación real sigue siendo desigual entre sectores y empresas”.
El estudio analiza desde su creación una muestra de 529 empresas, representativas de todos los sectores de la economía española. De las empresas que ofrecen planes, un 35,86% proporciona más de uno, y los sectores financiero (60,87%), energético (46,43%) y químico- farmacéutico (36,36%) se posicionan a la cabeza en implementación de sistemas de previsión.
Aunque el desarrollo sigue siendo limitado, se observa una tendencia creciente en la incorporación de sistemas de ahorro a través de retribución flexible, como respuesta al tope anual de 1.500 euros deducibles en los planes individuales. Este sistema permite a los empleados optimizar su fiscalidad sin coste adicional para la empresa, lo que lo convierte en una alternativa eficiente y extendida, y no suficientemente conocida por todas las empresas.
“Cada vez más empresas están optando por integrar el ahorro para la jubilación en sus esquemas de retribución flexible, buscando tanto la retención del talento como la eficiencia fiscal”, añade Granado.
Además, el plan de jubilación es el beneficio social más valorado por los empleados tras el seguro médico, según el mencionado estudio.
Falta de información clara y accesible
Uno de los principales obstáculos señalados en el estudio es la falta de información clara y accesible. Un 82% de los participantes considera insuficiente la información existente sobre planificación de la jubilación mientras que un 74% destaca la necesidad de mayor transparencia y comunicación para fomentar la previsión social complementaria.
En este sentido, el informe subraya la importancia de mejorar la educación financiera, tanto a nivel empresarial como individual, para facilitar la toma de decisiones en materia de ahorro y de pensiones a largo plazo.
El estudio también aborda el impacto de las recientes reformas introducidas por leyes como el RDL 2/2023 y el RDL 11/2024, que establecen nuevos marcos para la sostenibilidad del sistema, ampliación de derechos y compatibilidad entre trabajo y jubilación.
La estructura demográfica de España, con una población mayor de 65 años que ya representa un 20,42%, y que podría superar el 30% en 2050, introduce presión adicional al sistema. Esta realidad refuerza la importancia de una participación más activa del tejido empresarial en la planificación de la jubilación de los trabajadores.
