Madrid, 8 de mayo 2025. Oney, entidad financiera especializada en soluciones de pago y crédito al consumo, anuncia la incorporación de Mónica Correia como su nueva Directora General en España. Desde su nueva posición, Correia liderará la estrategia de crecimiento y transformación de la compañía en el mercado español, con el objetivo de reforzar su posición de liderazgo en materia de BNPL y crédito al consumo en todos los segmentos en que opera.

Con una sólida trayectoria internacional y más de veinte años de experiencia en sectores como financiación al consumo, Fintech, banca retail y telecomunicaciones, Mónica aporta una visión estratégica y una sólida capacidad de liderazgo en entornos dinámicos y en constante cambio.

Licenciada en Economía por la Nova School of Business and Economics de Portugal, Mónica ha complementado su formación, entre otros, con un Programa Ejecutivo en Sostenibilidad e Impacto Positivo por la Universidad de Cambridge. Su carrera profesional comenzó en Vodafone Portugal, y en 2004 se unió a BNP Paribas, donde ocupó diversos cargos en Francia, Portugal y Bélgica. En 2014, se trasladó a España liderando el Área de Transformación Digital y eCommerce de BNP Personal Finance, y en 2022 asumió el cargo de CEO de Nickel España, posición que ocupó hasta su incorporación a Oney.
