Madrid, 09 de julio de 2025La velocidad con la que cambian los modelos de negocio, las herramientas digitales y las expectativas del cliente está exigiendo a las pequeñas y medianas empresas una capacidad de adaptación sin precedentes. Para muchas, el principal freno no es tecnológico, sino humano: la falta de formación continua en los equipos. En este contexto, el desarrollo de competencias se posiciona como un factor estratégico para asegurar la competitividad, la eficiencia y el crecimiento a largo plazo.

La transformación digital, la automatización de procesos y las nuevas herramientas de inteligencia artificial están transformando de forma continua el modo en que operan las empresas. Las PYMES suponen el 99,81 % del tejido empresarial en España, según el informe Cifras PyME del Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo, por lo que afrontan ahora un desafío para renovarse. Sin embargo, muchas de ellas siguen sin integrar la formación en su estrategia de negocio, lo que compromete su capacidad para adaptarse a tiempo y con eficacia. De hecho, según el Observatorio Nacional de Tecnología y Sociedad (ONTSI), dependiente del Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública, solo el 9,6% de las empresas españolas de más de 10 empleados utiliza actualmente inteligencia artificial, y en el caso de las microempresas esta cifra cae al 5,8 %. Esta baja adopción evidencia una brecha digital real que solo podrá superarse si las pequeñas y medianas empresas apuestan firmemente por la capacitación de sus equipos como herramienta estratégica para avanzar, competir y crecer en un mercado cada vez más tecnológico.
