Dos centenares de personas con discapacidad intelectual de todo Aragón han participado durante cinco años, de la mano de Plena inclusión Aragón y varias de sus entidades miembro, en la adaptación de este clásico de la literatura aragonesa para hacerlo fácil de entender para cualquier persona, al margen de sus capacidades cognitivas.
Zaragoza, 19 de junio de 2025. Plena inclusión Aragón ha inaugurado este jueves la exposición ‘Pedro Saputo, fácil de leer, difícil de olvidar’, que permanecerá todo el verano en Harinera ZGZ, hasta el 14 de septiembre. La muestra, compuesta por una selección de las ilustraciones de los cuatro volúmenes de la versión en lectura fácil de ‘La vida de Pedro Saputo’, se enmarca en la programación estival de este espacio cultural del Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza, centrada en la cultura accesible.
De hecho, la propia exposición forma parte de un proyecto multidisciplinar que es un caso paradigmático de accesibilidad aplicada a la cultura. En ella, la asociación aragonesa de entidades de discapacidad intelectual presenta una iniciativa en la que ha estado trabajando a lo largo de cinco años con el fin de hacer cognitivamente accesible el clásico literario aragonés ‘La vida de Pedro Saputo’, mediante su adaptación a lectura fácil.
Alrededor de 200 personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo de todo Aragón han participado de forma activa en este proyecto. Todas ellas son integrantes de las comisiones de accesibilidad cognitiva Plena inclusión Aragón y sus entidades miembros, que entre otros quehaceres se dedican a validar textos en lectura fácil, una técnica estandarizada de mejora de la comprensión lectora que hace los textos sencillos de entender para cualquier persona, independientemente de sus capacidades cognitivas.
La exposición que acoge Harinera ZGZ está compuesta por las ilustraciones de los cuatro volúmenes en los que se ha dividido el libro adaptado, los mismos que componen la obra original de Braulio Foz. Todas ellas han sido realizadas por personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo. En la muestra también se explica todo el proceso creativo que ha supuesto la adaptación a lectura fácil de ‘La vida de Pedro Saputo’.
En paralelo a la exposición, Harinera ZGZ ha programado otras actividades complementarias, como una lectura dramatizada (10 de julio), talleres de ilustración (29 de julio) y un encuentro con las artistas que han ilustrado los libros (11 de septiembre).
El principal fin que ha perseguido Plena inclusión Aragón con este proyecto cognitivamente accesible es promover el derecho de acceso de las personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo a la cultura, sin ningún tipo de barreras ni limitaciones. Y una obra clásica de literatura, como ‘La vida de Pedro Saputo’, es una parte fundamental del acervo cultural aragonés.
Sin embargo, aunque muchas personas con discapacidad intelectual quieran acercarse a los grandes clásicos literarios, a menudo no son capaces de comprender los textos originales. De ahí la importancia de su adaptación a lectura fácil.
Además, los integrantes de este colectivo no son las únicas personas beneficiarias de esta iniciativa, sino también todas aquellas personas con problemas de comprensión lectora y dificultades cognitivas, con trastornos del habla y la comunicación, personas mayores con deterioro cognitivo, las que están aprendiendo el idioma o presentan problemas de aprendizaje…
‘La vida de Pedro Saputo’ es la primera obra de literatura clásica aragonesa que se adapta a lectura fácil. El proyecto comprende la edición de la colección de cuatro libros en formato físico y virtual, traducidos a las tres lenguas de Aragón (castellano, aragonés y catalán). Para facilitar todavía más su comprensión, el texto se apoya en elementos paratextuales, como imágenes, fotografías, viñetas o códigos QR con información complementaria y definiciones.
Cada volumen cuenta además con versiones en cómic y audiolibro, que es el primero del mundo locutado en lectura fácil por personas con discapacidad intelectual. De hecho, hasta finales de junio, continúa abierta la convocatoria para presentarse al casting para grabar el cuarto y último de los audiolibros.
Plena inclusión Aragón agradece al Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza la oportunidad de presentar esta exposición en un espacio abierto a toda la ciudadanía, como es Harinera ZGZ. Es una gran ocasión para poner de relieve la importancia de la accesibilidad cognitiva y para reclamar una cultura accesible, al alcance de cualquier persona, sean cuales sean sus capacidades.
