El consejo de administración de Adolfo Domínguez cesa a Antonio Puente como CEO y Adriana Domínguez asumirá ahora el cargo al completo. La compañía, ha agradecido a Puente los servicios prestados para la firma y su compromiso con la transformación de la misma durante los últimos ocho años, en los que formó un tándem de dirección con la hija del diseñador gallego, Adriana Domínguez. Puente asumió el cargo del que ahora fue cesado en mayo del 2022.

La actual presidenta ejecutiva de la compañía asumirá la totalidad de funciones de consejera delegada que hasta ahora compartía con Antonio Puente. La textil gallega incorporará a Íñigo de Llano como nuevo director general. De Llano, «cuenta con más de dos décadas de experiencia en el sector textil como parte del grupo Inditex». El ejecutivo, que dirigirá la gestión diaria de Adolfo Domínguez, llevaba más de 19 años en Inditex, donde fue director de negocio en Estados Unidos, Australia, Reino Unido e Irlanda. En este momento era director internacional en Europa de la multinacional presidida por Marta Ortega.

«Adolfo Domínguez inicia una nueva etapa para reimpulsar su operativa, a la vez que continúa reforzando su posicionamiento de marca a nivel global», ha asegurado la compañía, que este jueves ha presentado además sus resultados del ejercicio 2024/25.

Crecen las ventas

La textil gallega ha crecido en el último año un 7,8 % en ventas y ha aumentado sus beneficios en más de un 24 %. Las ventas comparables de Adolfo Domínguez crecen en moneda local en todos los países en los que opera, con aumentos de casi el 10 % en Europa y México. «Cerramos un ejercicio marcado por el crecimiento de la demanda de nuestras colecciones a pesar del complejo contexto geopolítico, que ha aumentado los costes en la cadena de suministro e impactado en nuestra rentabilidad», explica Adriana Domínguez.
