- La séptima edición de Innomakers4health busca 100 participantes para resolver en 48 horas este reto: acelerar la adopción de biomarcadores mediante soluciones tecnológicas que los hagan más accesibles, comprensibles y útiles para la toma de decisiones clínicas.
- El evento se celebrará en el campus 42 Madrid Fundación Telefónica los días 24 y 25 octubre, donde se anunciarán también los ganadores. Y las inscripciones ya están abiertas hasta el 17 de octubre.
- Los ganadores pueden conseguir un premio de 3.000€ y la posibilidad de acelerar su proyecto en el InnomakersLAB, el hub de Pfizer, junto con Wayra.
Madrid, 15 de septiembre de 2025. Wayra, el corporate venture capital de Telefónica, Pfizer y la Fundación Pfizer se unen para poner en marcha la VII edición de Innomakers4Health, un programa donde la innovación y la tecnología se encuentran con la salud para afrontar los desafíos del sector sanitario con el diseño de soluciones y prototipos que mejoren la calidad de vida de la población.
Solo 100 serán los candidatos seleccionados para unirse a Innomakers4health, que se celebrará los días 24 y 25 de octubre en el campus 42 Madrid Fundación Telefónica. Deberán desarrollar su propuesta en grupos de 5 personas, con el apoyo de los profesionales de Wayra, Pfizer y Fundación Pfizer.
En esta edición como novedad se convocan dos categorías distintas. La primera, Early Innovators, se centra en estudiantes, profesionales con o sin experiencia con formación en carreras STEM e interés por el sector sanitario y personas con formación en ciencias sociales. Para la segunda categoría se buscan startups cuya actividad esté relacionada con el desarrollo de soluciones innovadoras en el ámbito de la salud.
El reto estará enfocado en el uso de la tecnología para acelerar la adopción de biomarcadores -indicadores biológicos medibles que permiten detectar, predecir o seguir la evolución de enfermedades y la respuesta a tratamientos- mediante soluciones tecnológicas que los hagan más accesibles, comprensibles y útiles para la toma de decisiones clínicas.

Por su parte, José Chaves, director médico de Pfizer España, asegura que “el reto de esta edición es muy ambicioso, pues la adopción de biomarcadores en la práctica clínica un proceso complejo pero fundamental para avanzar hacia una medicina más personalizada y precisa. Estamos seguros de que con el talento que hay en nuestro país encontraremos soluciones tecnológicas que resulten de interés para la detección temprana de enfermedades, diagnósticos más precisos o selección de tratamientos personalizados”.
Finalmente, Sergio Rodríguez, presidente de la Fundación Pfizer, señala que “la Fundación Pfizer impulsa desde hace años el emprendimiento en salud y la transferencia de tecnología al sistema sanitario con este y otros programas, pues estamos convencidos de que contribuyen a mejorar el sistema de salud y la calidad de vida de los pacientes”.
Premios
Para cada categoría habrá un equipo ganador que recibirá un premio en metálico de 3.000 €. Además, los ganadores tendrán la posibilidad de acelerar su proyecto en el InnomakersLAB, el hub de Pfizer, junto con Wayra, quien, a su vez, dará acceso a un programa de mentorización durante 6 meses y un espacio de trabajo en sus oficinas de Madrid. Por último, gracias a la Fundación Pfizer, los ganadores en la categoría
startup tendrán la posibilidad de participar en el proceso de selección de una estancia de dos semanas en el programa Richi Social Entrepreneurs en Boston.
