VIPS inaugura su restaurante número 100 en la Comunidad de Madrid en la mítica Plaza de la Fuente Honda en Leganés

  • El restaurante cuenta con 228 metros cuadrados de sala, un aforo de 141 personas entre local y la terraza y trabajan en él 50 personas, 20 de ellas de nueva contratación

Madrid, 26 de septiembre de 2024. La conocida marca de restauración VIPS, perteneciente al grupo ALSEA, abre hoy un nuevo local restaurante en Leganés, exactamente en el número 3 de la mítica Plaza de la Fuente Honda de la ciudad madrileña. Esta nueva apertura empleará a 50 trabajadores, 20 de ellos de nueva contratación.  Con este nuevo restaurante ya son 100 los locales de VIPS en la Comunidad de Madrid.

El nuevo local presenta ya una decoración alineada con la nueva imagen de la marca, que destaca por su nueva barra vista en sala. Además, el espacio, que refleja la personalidad de la marca, cuenta con 228m2 de sala y un aforo de 41 comensales; además de una terraza de más 47 m2 con capacidad para 28 personas; que podrán disfrutar desde hoy mismo de los míticos platos de VIPS.

La apuesta gastronómica de VIPS, con gran variedad de platos únicos y muy diferentes, se posiciona como una cocina abierta a todas horas del día, ya que el horario será de 09:00 a 23.30 de lunes a jueves y de 09:00 a 00:30 viernes, sábados, domingos y víspera de festivos.

Además, celebrará esta reapertura con una hora de tortitas gratis. Todos los visitantes podrán disfrutar de una de las meriendas más populares de VIPS de 18:30 a 19:30.

“Estamos muy emocionados de abrir las puertas de este nuevo restaurante en Leganés, un espacio que refleja la evolución de la marca y su compromiso con ofrecer experiencias únicas a nuestros clientes,» ha comentado Francisco Páez Gonzalez director general de VIPS. «Esta apertura no solo representa una oportunidad para seguir creciendo en la Comunidad de Madrid, sino también para crear empleo local, con 50 puestos de trabajo, de los cuales 20 son de nueva creación. Queremos que este local se convierta en un punto de encuentro para disfrutar de nuestra variada oferta gastronómica, en un entorno acogedor y moderno, que invita a compartir momentos especiales en cualquier momento del día.”

Una gran fiesta para celebrar su llegada al barrio

El pasado miércoles, VIPS celebró por todo lo alto la inauguración de su nuevo local en la icónica Plaza de la Fuente Honda en Leganés, donde se dieron cita 90 asistentes. Durante el evento, los invitados pudieron disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica completa con los platos más representativos de la carta, incluidas las famosas tortitas de VIPS. La celebración estuvo amenizada con la música en vivo del DJ PEREDIUS. A la cita acudieron influencers, vecinos del barrio y José Carlos Lizana, 1er teniente alcalde de Leganés y concejal de Obras; y José Eugenio Marín García, concejal delegado de Economía, Desarrollo Local, Comercio y Empleo del Ayuntamiento de Leganés. 

Una ‘Apertura con Causa’ de la mano de Cruz Roja

Como parte de la iniciativa ‘Aperturas con Causa’ de Alsea, VIPS donará la recaudación del primer día al proyecto de Cruz Roja ‘Promoción del Éxito Escolar de niños en dificultad social’ que desarrollan desde la asamblea local de Leganés. Un proyecto que apoya a 40 menores en situación de vulnerabilidad social. El programa, que se desarrolla a lo largo del curso escolar, cuenta con dos grupos: uno para niños en Educación Primaria y otro para adolescentes en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. A través de esta iniciativa, se ofrece apoyo socioeducativo, asistencia en tareas escolares, actividades de ocio saludable y merienda durante las sesiones, contribuyendo a mejorar las oportunidades y el bienestar de estas familias.
