Fujifilm Healthcare ha puesto en marcha este proyecto fotográfico que busca rendir homenaje a todas las personas que conviven con esta enfermedad, y que se expondrá en el 7º Congreso Español de la Mama del 16 al 18 de octubre.
La iniciativa parte de una idea sencilla: poner una cámara en manos de quienes viven el cáncer de mama desde dentro, para que cuenten su propia historia, sus rutinas, miradas y gestos cotidianos.

Con motivo del Día Mundial contra el Cáncer de Mama, Fujifilm Healthcare ha puesto en marcha Proudly by your side, un proyecto fotográfico que busca rendir homenaje a todas las personas que conviven con esta enfermedad: pacientes, profesionales sanitarios y familiares que cada día se enfrentan a uno de los mayores retos de salud pública del siglo XXI.
La compañía ha cedido a varios hospitales y clínicas de todo el territorio nacional algunas de sus cámaras instax™ mini Evo Gentle Rose, un modelo de edición especial inspirado precisamente en la sensibilidad del color rosa, símbolo internacional de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama. La iniciativa parte de una idea sencilla: poner una cámara en manos de quienes viven el cáncer de mama desde dentro, para que cuenten su propia historia, sus rutinas, miradas y gestos cotidianos.
En este proyecto han participado pacientes y profesionales de los servicios de oncología, radiología y cirugía de mama de los siguientes centros: Hospital Clínic de Barcelona; Hospital Universitario Virgen de Macarena de Sevilla; Vithas Málaga; VIVO Los Remedios; Imagine Centro Médico; y Affidea-Manchón. Todos ellos han inmortalizado las esperas, las conversaciones que alivian, los cuidados y también los silencios que acompañan cada proceso.
Exposición
El resultado de este ejercicio de memoria colectiva y empatía se va a exponer en el marco del 7º Congreso Español de la Mama, en el que participa Fujifilm Healthcare, y que tendrá lugar del 16 al
18 de octubre en IFEMA – Feria de Madrid, una de las principales citas científicas del país dedicadas al diagnóstico, tratamiento e investigación de la patología mamaria. Y también en los diferentes centros participantes, donde las fotografías permanecerán expuestas como un testimonio visual del valor compartido entre pacientes y profesionales.

El proyecto combina dos de las grandes especialidades de Fujifilm: la fotografía y el diagnóstico por imagen.
