·       Raquel Giménez Calatayud, especialista en Enfermería Geriátrica del Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro de Albacete, ha sido la ganadora del Premio Sanitas EIR.

·       Los accésits del Premio Sanitas MIR han recaído en Riccardo Raganato, especialista en Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatológica del Hospital Universitario La Paz de Madrid y Didier Sánchez Ospina, especialista en Análisis Clínicos del Hospital Universitario de Burgos.

·       Por su parte, los accésits del Premio Sanitas EIR se han concedido a Nadia Hamam Alcober, especialista en Enfermería Familiar y comunitaria de la UDM de Atención Familiar y Comunitaria Sectores Huesca y Barbastro, y Almudena Montes Galán, especialista en Enfermería del Trabajo del Hospital Universitario de Ceuta.

Miguel Mansilla Polo, especialista en Dermatología Médico-Quirúrgica y Venereología del Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe de Valencia, es el ganador del Premio Sanitas MIR 2025. Estos galardones, que celebran este año su 29ª edición, destacan la calidad y la dedicación de los médicos internos residentes en el ámbito formativo y profesional de España.

Nacido en Yecla (Murcia) y formado en Medicina en la Universidad de Murcia, el Dr. Miguel Mansilla obtuvo la calificación cum laude y mención internacional en su tesis doctoral: Incidencia y Caracterización del Cáncer Cutáneo en Receptores de Trasplante de Progenitores Hematopoyéticos. Además, ha realizado los másteres en Dermatología Clínica, Dermatología Pediátrica y Metodología de la Investigación, así como estancias formativas en hospitales de Sidney (Australia) y Maringá (Brasil). Ha participado en numerosas publicaciones científicas y congresos, y ha sido reconocido con varios premios a la mejor comunicación en formato póster y comunicación oral.

En cuanto a los accésits, el primero ha sido otorgado a Riccardo Raganato, especialista en Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatológica del Hospital Universitario La Paz de Madrid. Nacido y crecido en Ostia Lido (Italia), el Dr. Raganato es graduado en Medicina por la Università di Roma “La Sapienza” y domina cinco idiomas. Ha participado en numerosos proyectos de investigación y ha tenido la posibilidad de realizar dos prestigiosos fellowships clínicos en centros de referencia de Estados Unidos. Asimismo, recibió la calificación de sobresaliente en su tesis doctoral, titulada Optimización de la Realineación Raquídea y Prevención de Complicaciones Mecánicas en Cirugía de Deformidad del Adulto.

El segundo accésit ha recaído en Didier Sánchez Ospina, especialista en Análisis Clínicos del Hospital Universitario de Burgos. El Dr. Sánchez, formado en la Universidad San Pablo CEU de Madrid, cuenta con diversas publicaciones científicas y obtuvo la mención cum laude en su tesis doctoral: Toxinas Urémicas Unidas a Proteínas en Hemodiálisis: Estrategias de Depuración, Función Renal Residual y Desplazadores.

Premios a la excelencia también en Enfermería: 4ª edición Premios Sanitas EIR

En esta categoría, la ganadora ha sido Raquel Giménez Calatayud, especialista en Enfermería Geriátrica del Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro de Albacete. Nacida en Alicante, es graduada en Enfermería por la Universidad de Alicante y ha cursado un Máster Universitario en Envejecimiento Activo y Salud. Además, cuenta con dos artículos en revistas científicas y con participación en varios congresos.

España cuenta con un sistema sanitario de referencia, y reconocer el talento y la trayectoria de sus mejores médicos y enfermeras especialistas es nuestra manera de poner en valor su dedicación y compromiso con la sociedad”, ha señalado Iñaki Peralta, presidente de Fundación Sanitas.

El primer accésit ha sido para Nadia HamamAlcober, especialista en Enfermería Familiar y Comunitaria de la Unidad Docente Multiprofesional de Atención Familiar y Comunitaria Sectores Huesca y Barbastro. Realizó su formación en la Universidad de Zaragoza y cuenta con un Máster Universitario en Investigación en Medicina Clínica. Nadia ha participado en diez congresos científicos y cinco publicaciones especializadas. Además, durante su residencia, ha formado parte de multitud de proyectos comunitarios.

Por su parte, el segundo accésit ha recaído en Almudena Montes Galán, especialista en Enfermería del Trabajo del Hospital Universitario de Ceuta. Estudió Enfermería en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de Ceuta, perteneciente a la Universidad de Granada, y completó un Máster en Actualización de Conocimientos para la Enfermería Especializada Tipo II. Durante su formación de posgrado, obtuvo un premio al Póster Consecuencias Psicológicas de las Agresiones hacia los Trabajadores del Ámbito Sanitario.

El jurado de ambos premios ha estado compuesto por especialistas en Medicina y Enfermería, además de un miembro del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades. Para la valoración se han tenido en cuenta factores como los títulos académicos, las publicaciones científicas, los premios y el doctorado. Un año más, la valoración del tutor ha tenido un peso decisivo en la decisión final.

En esta edición se han presentado 95 candidaturas MIR de 69 centros de formación, procedentes de 31 especialidades médicas. Además, se han recibido 80 candidaturas EIR de 67 centros, correspondientes a seis especialidades de Enfermería.
