MADRID, 26 de febrero de 2025 – MetLife España y la Asociación de Jóvenes Profesionales del Seguro (AJPS) han firmado un acuerdo de colaboración con el objetivo de atraer y fomentar el talento joven en la industria aseguradora. Esta alianza refuerza el compromiso de ambas entidades con la renovación del sector, apostando por la innovación y la digitalización como claves para su evolución y crecimiento.

A pesar de su papel crucial en la economía y la sociedad, el sector asegurador sigue siendo percibido por muchos jóvenes como una industria tradicional y poco atractiva. Con esta colaboración, MetLife y la AJPS buscan cambiar esa percepción, acercando a las nuevas generaciones las oportunidades profesionales que ofrece el sector y promoviendo su modernización mediante el uso de nuevas tecnologías.

“En MetLife creemos firmemente que el futuro del sector asegurador depende de nuestra capacidad para atraer, formar y retener talento joven. Esta alianza con AJPS nos permite conectar con profesionales emergentes, aportarles herramientas para su desarrollo y fomentar un sector más innovador y adaptado a las nuevas demandas del mercado”, ha afirmado Óscar Herencia, Vicepresidente para el Sur de Europa y Director General de MetLife en Iberia.

Por su parte, Andrés Quiles, Presidente de la Asociación de Jóvenes Profesionales del Seguro, ha señalado: “Muy agradecidos de que una compañía con gran calidad humana como es MetLife colabore con nosotros para seguir empoderando a los jóvenes y darles visibilidad en el sector y orientarles hacia el aprendizaje de habilidades y conocimiento”.

La firma de este acuerdo contempla la puesta en marcha de iniciativas conjuntas que fomenten el networking, la formación y la divulgación del sector asegurador entre los jóvenes profesionales. Además, se impulsará el uso de herramientas digitales y nuevas tecnologías para mejorar la experiencia y el desarrollo profesional de los jóvenes dentro de la industria de los seguros.

MetLife, en su apuesta por la innovación, ha integrado soluciones digitales avanzadas que facilitan el acceso a la información, la contratación de seguros o la gestión de beneficios o servicios de valor añadido.
