La Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU) y Serprecova crean una nueva Cátedra orientada a la prevención y bienestar laboral.

● Ambas instituciones han firmado, hoy, un nuevo acuerdo por el que se comprometen a crear esta Cátedra, que tendrá como objetivo impulsar la ciencia e investigación en el campo de los riesgos laborales. También, sus consecuencias en las personas trabajadoras, las empresas, y la sociedad en general.
● En el acto, que ha tenido lugar en la sede de VIU, perteneciente a la red de formación superior Planeta Formación y Universidades, han estado presentes ,los Co-directores de la Cátedra, Nuria Pastor y Juan José Agún y los miembros.de la Comisión mixta Rubén Rodríguez Martínez y Joaquín Carmona Santo en
representación de Serprecova y Raúl Aguilar Elena y José Luis Llorca Rubio en.representación de VIU.
● VIU, a través de su Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas, y Serprecova, presentarán la nueva Cátedra en el marco de la Feria Laboralia, que se.celebrará los próximos 11 y 12 de noviembre, en Valencia.

Valencia, 1 de octubre de 2025 – La Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas de la Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU), perteneciente a la red de educación superior Planeta Formación y Universidades, y la Asociación de Servicios de Prevención Ajenos de Riesgos Laborales de la Comunitat Valenciana (Serprecova) han firmado hoy un acuerdo de para colaborar en la creación de una nueva Cátedra orientada a la prevención y seguridad laboral.
“Este acuerdo supone un paso clave para el impulso a la investigación y la transmisión de conocimiento en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. Queremos ofrecer nuestro conocimiento académico y nuestra sobriedad universitaria en post del bien común de la sociedad, a través de la formación y el acceso abierto a los recursos gestionados y fomentados en el marco de lo que será esta nueva Cátedra” destaca la Dra. Julia Martínez Candado, Decana de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas de VIU.
Por su parte, la Dra. Nuria Pastor Ramos, Presidenta de Serprecova añade que “la colaboración estrecha entre la universidad y el sector empresarial es fundamental para asegurar que la investigación se traduzca en desarrollos aplicados, innovadores y rigurosos que satisfagan las exigencias reales de los servicios de prevención de riesgos laborales y del tejido productivo nacional.»
“Al final, nuestra misión es mejorar la seguridad y el bienestar en los entornos laborales, mediante la investigación y el desarrollo de soluciones innovadoras, basadas en tecnologías como el machine learning, big data o la minería de datos. Queremos convertirnos en un motor de cambio, aportando soluciones prácticas, sostenibles y éticas a los trabajadores y empresas y al conjunto de la sociedad” concluía esta mañana la Dra. Martínez, Decana de VIU.
VIU, a través de su Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas, y Serprecova presentarán la nueva Cátedra en el marco de la Feria Laboralia, que se celebrará los próximos 11 y 12 de noviembre, en Valencia.
Mejorar el entorno laboral y la investigación en la prevención de riesgos laborales, entre los objetivos principales de la nueva Cátedra.
La nueva Cátedra que crearán VIU y Serprecova, tendrá como objetivo fundamental la investigación aplicada y la transferencia científica en el campo de los riesgos laborales, para impactar positivamente en los nuevos entornos de trabajo, en relación a los ODS y la necesidad de renovación de las políticas laborales al respecto. También mantener marcos de colaboración con otras instituciones académicas para fomentar la colaboración multidisciplinar.
Pero también el I+D en campos como la psicosociología organizacional ante fenómenos como la robótica, la digitalización o el big data. También, nuevas propuestas en relación a la higiene y seguridad laboral, promoviendo entornos de trabajo más seguros y saludables mediante el uso de tecnologías avanzadas, para el bienestar y salud ocupacional.
En relación a ello, realizará y difundirá los resultados de sus investigaciones entre los profesionales y futuros profesionales del sector, las personas trabajadoras y la sociedad.
Además, la Cátedra reconocerá los mejores trabajos académicos en esta disciplina, mediante el otorgamiento de premios y reconocimientos.
Por último, la Cátedra tendrá como eje principal la formación de los profesionales y futuros profesionales del sector en técnicas innovadoras, que se puedan aplicar a los entornos laborales reales. También formará a los profesionales en la soft skills más demandadas y necesarias en este campo tan sensible. Para ello, ofrecerá programas educativos, talleres y seminarios especializados para capacitar a trabajadores, gestores y especialistas en seguridad y salud laboral, brindándoles herramientas actualizadas para gestionar riesgos de manera eficiente. Algo primordial dado el compromiso de ambas instituciones con el impacto social.
