La Fundación Mundial de la Felicidad ingresa en el Consejo Económico y Social (ECOSOC) de la ONU.
La Fundación – World Happiness Foundation – podrá participar en encuentros de Naciones Unidas, contribuyendo activamente a la labor del Consejo Económico y Social (ECOSOC) de la ONU a través de la investigación, el asesoramiento y la participación en la elaboración de políticas de la ONU.
El 11 de junio la Fundación Mundial de la Felicidad entró en el Consejo Económico y Social (ECOSOC) de la ONU como organización consultiva.
El ECOSOC coordina la labor de las Naciones Unidas y sus agencias especializadas en estos ámbitos,
supervisa los cuerpos subsidiarios y de expertos, y sirve como plataforma central para el debate y el
pensamiento innovador sobre el desarrollo sostenible.
Desde la adopción de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible, el ECOSOC ha fortalecido sus
trabajos y coordinación para implementar la agenda de manera efectiva y coherente.
El ECOSOC sirve como plataforma central para el debate y el pensamiento innovador sobre el
desarrollo sostenible.
Una declaración a favor de la paz mundial
La Fundación ya ha escrito su primera declaración institucional titulada “A Call for Peace: The End
of Wars and Respect for International Law”.
