GLS Spain incrementa un 56% la contratación de personas con discapacidad en el primer año de su Departamento de Diversity.

La compañía celebra el primer año de la creación del Departamento de Diversity compartiendo los logros y los nuevos objetivos en el área de diversidad e inclusión laboral.

Madrid, 09 de julio de 2025.- Hace un año, GLS Spain dio un paso significativo en la apuesta de la compañía por la inclusión y la diversidad al crear el Departamento de Diversity. Un año después, la empresa anuncia un incremento del 56% en la contratación de personas con discapacidad, consolidando esta política como pilar fundamental de su cultura corporativa. 

Desde su creación en abril de 2024, el departamento ha implementado una serie de iniciativas, diseñadas no solo para fomentar un ambiente laboral inclusivo, sino también para fortalecer el compromiso social de GLS. A través de programas de afloramiento de la discapacidad, formación específica para el personal directivo y mandos intermedios, y de colaboraciones para la captación de talento diverso, externalización de operativas a CEE e inclusión de la diversidad en los tenders de facilities, GLS Spain ha creado un entorno más enriquecedor donde cada individuo puede prosperar, de acuerdo con sus capacidades.

«Estamos orgullosos de lo que hemos logrado en este primer año. Hemos potenciado políticas inclusivas de selección, formación, acompañamiento, incorporación y consolidación de personas con discapacidad en todas las áreas de nuestra organización, siendo hoy un valor motivador para nuestra marca y un orgullo corporativo con el que somos socialmente más responsables y eficientes», destaca Carolina López, responsable el departamento de Diversity.

Además, GLS ha establecido alianzas estratégicas con la Fundación ONCE para potenciar la contratación de personas con discapacidad y, como apoyo a la red agencial, con Fundación “la Caixa” para la adhesión a su Programa ‘Incorpora’ que permite que los más de 550 empresarios y empresarias de GLS de toda España accedan a 482 entidades sociales, especializadas localmente en la inserción laboral de personas con discapacidad y/o en riesgo de exclusión social, favoreciendo así su empleabilidad.

Dentro de su apoyo a la inclusión, la compañía colabora con Centros Especiales de Empleo en sus plataformas operativas de Málaga y Tenerife. Estos centros son empresas integradoras que ofrecen un trabajo a personas con discapacidad igual o superior al 33% para que puedan desarrollarse profesionalmente, crecer a nivel personal y mejorar su inclusión social.

Objetivos para 2025

Para este año, el departamento se propone ambiciosos objetivos estratégicos como la formación al 100% de la plantilla en temas de discapacidad y la replicación de modelos inclusivos en todos los centros corporativos. «Queremos que GLS Spain se convierta en un referente en inclusión laboral dentro del sector y estamos comprometidos a ampliar nuestras prácticas inclusivas en todos los ámbitos de la empresa», añade Carolina López. 

La innovación del Departamento de Diversity reside en su enfoque estratégico y transversal, que propone un modelo replicable y adaptable a diferentes territorios, garantizando un impacto positivo en la plantilla y la reputación de la empresa. 

Con el firme propósito de continuar consolidando estos avances, GLS Spain está decidida a crear un entorno laboral que, además de celebrar la diversidad, también la integre de manera sostenible en su ADN corporativo. 

Reconocimiento al compromiso con la inclusión

Como resultado del trabajo realizado durante este primer año, GLS Spain ha sido galardonada con el Premio MF Talent 2025 a la Inclusión Laboral, un reconocimiento que otorga El Resurgir de Madrid a empresas destacadas por su impacto social y su apuesta por el talento diverso. Este premio reconoce la labor de la compañía por su enfoque estratégico y sostenible en la integración de personas con discapacidad, así como por sus políticas innovadoras que promueven una cultura organizacional más inclusiva.
