FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE Y EL FONDO SOCIAL EUROPEO PLUS LANZAN UNA NUEVA CONVOCATORIA DE AYUDAS DOTADA CON 18 MILLONES DE EUROS PARA IMPULSAR LA ESPAÑA RURAL.

· Las Ayudas +Rural 2025 buscan impulsar proyectos que combatan desafíos como el envejecimiento, el desempleo o la inclusión social en poblaciones de menos de 30.000 habitantes.

· Gracias a esta iniciativa se garantiza la total financiación de proyectos en el medio rural, ámbito que representa el 84% del territorio español y donde viven cerca de 8 millones de personas.

· Podrán solicitar las ayudas hasta el 15 de julio, principalmente entidades del tercer sector, de la economía social, confederaciones, federaciones, asociaciones y agrupaciones de entidades.

Fundación MAPFRE, en colaboración con el Fondo Social Europeo Plus (FSE+), lanza la convocatoria Ayudas +Rural 2025, dotada con 18 millones de euros para impulsar nuevas oportunidades y fomentar el arraigo en el ámbito rural, tanto en inserción sociolaboral como en la mejora del acceso a servicios sociosanitarios y cuidados, así como la formación en este ámbito.

La iniciativa se enmarca en el Programa de Inclusión Social, Garantía Infantil y Lucha contra la Pobreza, promovido por el FSE+ y gestionado en España por el Ministerio de Trabajo y Economía Social. Fundación MAPFRE selecciona proyectos mediante convocatorias de concurrencia competitiva en calidad de organismo intermedio, y cofinancia las ayudas del FSE+ hasta el 100% de su importe.

Según datos del Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación, el medio rural representa el 84% del territorio español, aunque en él reside solo el 16% de la población. Son cerca de 8 millones de personas las que se enfrentan a desafíos como el envejecimiento, el desempleo o la falta de servicios básicos, lo que las convierte en vulnerables. En este sentido, las Ayudas +Rural 2025 pretenden contribuir a mejorar la calidad de vida y dar respuesta a los retos y desafíos de la España Rural, financiando iniciativas sociales que se desarrollen en municipios de menos de 30.000 habitantes.

Las ayudas, que se podrán solicitar hasta el 15 de julio, están dirigidas principalmente a entidades del tercer sector y de la economía social, así como a federaciones, confederaciones, asociaciones y agrupaciones de entidades que cumplan los requisitos recogidos en las bases.

De este modo, los proyectos que se presenten deberán enmarcarse en uno de los dos grandes ámbitos de actuación definidos en la convocatoria. El primero, al que se destinarán 8 millones de euros, está orientado a favorecer la inserción sociolaboral de colectivos en situación de vulnerabilidad, como personas desempleadas, con discapacidad, en riesgo de exclusión social, con problemas de adicción o mujeres víctimas de violencia de género.

Se divide en dos ejes temáticos: desarrollar acciones para facilitar el acceso a la prestación de servicios sociosanitarios, de seguimiento, asistenciales y domiciliarios (dotado con 6,8 millones de euros) e implementar proyectos de formación para profesionales del ámbito sociosanitario y cuidadores de personas dependientes (tercera edad, personas con discapacidad o con enfermedades crónicas) con una dotación de 3,2 millones de euros.

Las iniciativas seleccionadas deberán ejecutarse en un plazo de entre uno y dos años, y las ayudas para financiarlas, que serán del 100% de su coste, pueden oscilar entre 350.000 y 1,5 millones de euros.

Comprometidos con la población rural

Estas ayudas refuerzan las líneas de actuación social que Fundación MAPFRE desarrolla desde hace años para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas y fomentar el progreso social, en especial en contextos vulnerables. Se trata de una nueva apuesta por la igualdad de oportunidades, en línea con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la Agenda 2030.

Con esta convocatoria, Fundación MAPFRE impulsa la atención personalizada, el empleo y la formación en el entorno rural, contribuyendo a la revitalización de la España vaciada.
