FITUR Talent impulsa la fidelización del capital humano como palanca estratégica del turismo.

La sección reunió a directivos, expertos y líderes del sector turístico para poner el foco en el capital humano como motor de la transformación del turismo.
Madrid, 22 de enero de 2026.- FITUR Talent, organizado por la Feria Internacional de Turismo en colaboración con RRHHDigital y con el patrocinio de Randstad, celebró en el marco de FITUR una nueva edición de la sección, consolidándose como la cita imprescindible para directivos y profesionales del sector que quieren situar al talento en el centro de la transformación turística. La jornada, que tuvo lugar en el Pabellón del Conocimiento, destacó la importancia de atraer, desarrollar y retener a las personas como clave para garantizar la competitividad, sostenibilidad y calidad del turismo global.
La apertura de la sección contó con la participación de Oriol Mas (Randstad Enterprise), María Sánchez (IFEMA MADRID) y Carmen Aparicio (CEOE), quienes analizaron el momento actual del turismo y la urgencia de contar con talento cualificado. Todos coincidieron en que el crecimiento del sector no puede desvincularse de estrategias sólidas de atracción y fidelización de profesionales, un desafío que requiere innovación, formación continua y entornos laborales más saludables y responsables.
María Sánchez abrió el debate destacando que “el talento es escaso, los profesionales eligen a la empresa; tenemos que ser capaces de ofrecer un propósito que conecte con la persona, sus valores y sus inquietudes. Esta industria tiene que ofrecer ese motor”. Los participantes señalaron los principales retos que enfrenta el sector: cuantitativo, relacionado con el relevo generacional, y cualitativo, ya que no basta con disponer del número de personas necesarias, sino que deben estar formadas y preparadas para los desafíos de la industria turística.
Asimismo, se resaltó que la cultura del trabajo ha cambiado y no solo en el sector turístico: los profesionales actuales buscan algo más que un salario; valoran la conciliación, la flexibilidad y, sobre todo, encontrar un propósito que dé sentido a su trabajo diario.
Claves para atraer y fidelizar talento
La primera mesa de debate abordó cómo atraer y retener talento en un mercado cada vez más competitivo. Los expertos destacaron la importancia de ofrecer propuestas de valor más allá del salario, que incluyan oportunidades de desarrollo profesional, flexibilidad y experiencias laborales significativas. Además, subrayaron la relevancia de la marca empleadora y la colaboración con universidades y centros de formación para asegurar un flujo constante de nuevos profesionales capacitados.
Tras la primera mesa llegó el turno de Andrés Menéndez Martínez, director general Staffing y RIS de Randstad España, con la keynote “Redefiniendo el turismo desde las personas: Estrategias de talento para un crecimiento sostenible”, en la que presentó datos clave sobre el sector turístico, sus desafíos actuales. Especial atención en el absentismo laboral y en los indicadores de afiliación, recordando que
el sector compite por atraer y retener talento cualificado. “Las empresas tenemos el reto de ser un imán para atraer el talento en España, un desafío en el que debemos trabajar los próximos años. La formación, los planes de carrera y la capacidad de adaptarnos a las exigencias del trabajador son fundamentales. Como empresas, si queremos garantizar la sostenibilidad del sector, tenemos que trabajar en
esta dirección”, aseguró Menéndez.
La importancia de la formación y digitalización
En la siguiente mesa redonda se exploró cómo la formación continua y la digitalización de los RRHH se han convertido en palancas estratégicas para desarrollar y retener talento. Los ponentes coincidieron en que la transformación digital es indispensable para mejorar procesos, optimizar la experiencia de los empleados y responder a las expectativas de la nueva generación de trabajadores.
Además, subrayaron la importancia de la formación en competencias del futuro, habilidades técnicas y soft skills, y adaptación a la diversidad de perfiles que coexisten en el sector turístico.
Francis Blasco, PhD, presidenta CEDTUR y decana de la Facultad de Comercio y Turismo, destacó que “estamos en la era de la digitalización, pero falta un esfuerzo real por conectar todas las plataformas y ecosistemas digitales dentro de la compañía”
En esta línea, Sara Pérez Travieso, HRBP / directora de Formación y Desarrollo, Air Europa, señaló que existen varios retos clave: “la inversión: son herramientas muy costosas que hay que poner a disposición del empleado. En segundo lugar, formar en su uso; además, hay que gestionar la convivencia de diferentes generaciones en el mundo laboral y, por último, garantizar la seguridad de la información”.
Finalmente, Ana María Camps, directora del Departamento de Formación y Estudios, CEHAT, subrayó el desafío que supone la diversidad de perfiles en el sector, donde las distintas actividades no llegan a todos por igual y muchas veces los programas de formación no pueden cubrir de manera homogénea a todos los empleados.
Bienestar y salud mental como prioridad
El cuidado de las personas ocupó un espacio destacado en la jornada. Los ponentes recordaron que el bienestar y la salud mental son fundamentales para reducir la rotación, aumentar el compromiso y garantizar la calidad del servicio. La promoción de entornos saludables, programas de apoyo emocional y prácticas centradas en las personas son estrategias clave para construir organizaciones más sostenibles y
resilientes.
La mesa, dedicada al liderazgo inclusivo y la diversidad, puso de manifiesto que la inclusión es ya una palanca real de transformación para el sector turístico. Durante el debate, los ponentes coincidieron en que “la diversidad es cambiar la mirada tradicional y querer hacer”, advirtiendo de que las empresas que no actúen en esta dirección difícilmente podrán avanzar en un entorno cada vez más competitivo. En un contexto marcado por la incertidumbre, se destacó que “el futuro del sector es desafiante, todo cambia muy rápido y debemos tener capacidad de reacción y adaptación”.
Absentismo laboral: diagnóstico y soluciones
El último bloque de debate analizó el absentismo laboral, un reto persistente en el sector turístico. Los expertos coincidieron en la necesidad de comprender las causas profundas y propusieron soluciones para el reto “El absentismo no es un problema sólo del área de personas, pero es un problema operativo que atañe a toda la compañía” asegura José Germán Román, director Nacional de Servicios Médicos

FITUR Talent reafirmó que el futuro del turismo dependerá no solo de la innovación tecnológica, sino también de la capacidad de las organizaciones para atraer, formar y cuidar a su capital humano. La jornada ofreció un mapa completo de prioridades para la gestión del talento en un sector que representa uno de los mayores empleadores de la economía global y dejó claro que el turismo competitivo y sostenible del mañana se construirá sobre personas motivadas, formadas e incluidas.
