El 85,1% de las empresas españolas considera que incluir un seguro de salud privado como beneficio social mejora la atracción de talento.
Sanitas acaba de presentar el Observatorio Sanitas del seguro de salud para las empresas, que analiza la percepción que tienen las compañías sobre los seguros como beneficio para sus empleados. Este informe revela que el 85,1% de los encuestados considera que incluir un seguro de salud privado como beneficio social contribuye significativamente a la atracción de talento. Además, el 81,2% señala que contar con este beneficio puede ser un factor clave a la hora de elegir una empresa en la que trabajar.
“En un mercado laboral cada vez más competitivo, las compañías buscan diferenciarse ofreciendo incentivos que vayan más allá del salario. En este contexto, el seguro de salud privado se ha consolidado como un beneficio altamente valorado, ya que impacta directamente en el bienestar de los empleados y, a menudo, en el de sus familias”, explica Pablo Moreno, director comercial de Sanitas.
A pesar de su relevancia, solo el 50% de las empresas españolas ofrece actualmente un seguro de salud como beneficio social. Sin embargo, el informe destaca que este es el incentivo más valorado por los empleados (31,5%) y que el 88,7% de las compañías considera que mejora la satisfacción laboral. Como reflejo de esta tendencia, un 10,1% de las empresas que aún no lo han implementado tiene previsto hacerlo a lo largo de este año.

Lejos de ser un beneficio exclusivo de las grandes corporaciones, el 41,6% de las pymes con hasta 250 empleados ya ofrece un seguro de salud a sus equipos, reflejando la creciente adopción de este incentivo. Sanitas Pymes Digital facilita a las empresas la integración de estos seguros, contribuyendo al bienestar de los empleados y fomentando un ambiente laboral más motivado y comprometido. De hecho, el 31,8% de los encuestados afirma que contar con un seguro de salud incrementa la productividad y el 41,6% señala que reduce el absentismo.
En cuanto a la financiación de estos seguros, el estudio revela que el 58,4% de las empresas asume el coste al 100%; y el 41,6% restante lo hace financiando una parte a través de la retribución flexible.
A través de herramientas como Retriflex, por ejemplo, empleada por Sanitas, se transforma la gestión de retribución flexible ya que ofrece una plataforma digital a través de la que los empleados pueden simular el impacto fiscal y diseñar un plan de retribución a la carta en función de sus necesidades. “La implantación de esta solución integral incrementa la satisfacción y el compromiso de la plantilla, mejora la retención del talento y refuerza la reputación corporativa como empleador responsable”, ha explicado Pablo Moreno.
Herramientas digitales
La digitalización se ha convertido en un pilar esencial en la percepción del seguro de salud como beneficio empresarial. Según el informe, el 84,5% de los encuestados considera fundamental que su seguro privado incluya herramientas digitales. Soluciones como la videoconsulta, la gestión de citas online o el acceso a historiales médicos desde una app facilitan su uso y mejoran la experiencia del empleado.

La digitalización no solo facilita el acceso a la atención médica, sino que también permite una atención más personalizada, adaptada a las necesidades de cada empleado. Herramientas como la telemedicina y la gestión online de citas adaptan el servicio a las necesidades de cada empleado. Sin embargo, la personalización no solo pasa por la tecnología, sino también por el acceso a centros propios, una opción que el 90,3% de los encuestados valora muy positivamente (48,7%) o bastante positivamente (41,6%) debido a la cercanía y calidad del servicio.
“Sanitas ha dado un paso más en la personalización de la medicina con el lanzamiento de un programa pionero en medicina preventiva basada en la genómica. Gracias a la integración de la secuenciación del ADN con herramientas como la inteligencia artificial, los wearables y el análisis de datos, podemos anticiparnos a enfermedades con predisposición genética, como ciertos tipos de cáncer o la diabetes tipo 2. Junto a nuestra matriz Bupa, estamos impulsando el mayor programa intereuropeo de secuenciación y medicina preventiva en España y Reino Unido. Este avance nos permite ofrecer una medicina basada en las 5 ‘P’: preventiva, personalizada, precisa, predictiva y participativa”, añade Moreno.
Salud mental
La salud mental ha cobrado una importancia creciente en el ámbito empresarial. El 43,2% de las empresas ha detectado un aumento en las bajas médicas relacionadas con problemas de salud mental, lo que ha llevado a un incremento en la demanda de servicios especializados en este ámbito.
Según el estudio, el 81,8% de los encuestados considera muy (43,5%) o bastante importante (38,3%) que los seguros de salud privados incluyan servicios específicos de salud mental, lo que demuestra la necesidad de un enfoque integral del bienestar de los empleados.
