Claudia Tecglen: “Mi discapacidad ha sido mi mejor entrenadora para desarrollar mi liderazgo”

La fundadora de la Asociación Convives con Espasticidad y de la Fundación homónima ha recibido el Premio DUX de Impacto Social y el Premio Humanizar al Liderazgo Transformador.

Madrid, 19 de junio de 2025. Claudia Tecglen: “Mi discapacidad ha sido mi mejor entrenadora para desarrollar mi liderazgo, psicóloga, speaker, mentora y consultora estratégica, además de consejera de empresas, ha logrado, con su trabajo y formación constante en diferentes ámbitos y en instituciones como la UNED o el IESE Business School, ser una fuente de inspiración y transformación. No solo ha fundado dos organizaciones referentes en discapacidad a partir de su propia experiencia con la parálisis cerebral —la Asociación Convives con Espasticidad y la Fundación Claudia Tecglen—, sino que ha conseguido posicionarse como una voz influyente en los principales foros empresariales, educativos y sociales.

Como muestra de ello, Claudia ha recibido en el último mes dos de los galardones más destacados en el ámbito del liderazgo humano: el Premio DUX de Impacto Social, concedido por Canal CEO, y el Premio Humanizar al Liderazgo Transformador, otorgado por el Centro de Humanización de la Salud San Camilo. Ambos reconocimientos subrayan su influencia en la construcción de culturas corporativas más inclusivas e innovadoras, así como el impacto social que ha logrado a lo largo de su trayectoria con las organizaciones que lidera desde que tenía 22 años.

En la gala de los Premios DUX, celebrada el pasado 29 de mayo, el jurado de Canal CEO puso en valor la dedicación de Claudia para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad. “Desde Canal CEO, a través de nuestra iniciativa Premios DUX, queremos visibilizar que otro liderazgo no solo es posible, sino necesario. Por eso, reconocer a Claudia Tecglen con el Premio al Compromiso e Impacto Social es también una forma de señalar el camino: un liderazgo con propósito, inclusivo y con impacto real en la sociedad. La inclusión no es solo una cuestión de justicia o responsabilidad social. Es una ventaja competitiva, una estrategia de negocio con visión de futuro. Y la trayectoria de Claudia lo demuestra: transformar una dificultad personal en una causa colectiva, y una causa en un proyecto que mejora vidas, es pura esencia de liderazgo, afirmó Noemí Boza, directora general de Canal CEO. Además, subrayó que “Claudia encarna el tipo de líderes que desde Canal CEO deseamos impulsar y hacer cada vez más visibles: valientes, coherentes y comprometidos. Porque creemos firmemente que el liderazgo del siglo XXI no se mide solo en resultados económicos, sino en la huella que deja en las personas y en el entorno”.

Por su parte, el jurado del Premio Humanizar, otorgado en la tarde de ayer, destacó la trayectoria de Tecglen “por su capacidad de emprendimiento y liderazgo inspirador en la defensa de la igualdad y la autonomía, demostrando que la pasión y la perseverancia pueden transformar la realidad y abrir nuevas oportunidades para las personas con discapacidad”.

Actualmente, Claudia asesora a empresas y acompaña a líderes -sobre todo mujeres- para fortalecer su mentalidad, redefinir su estrategia y aumentar su visibilidad para reposicionarse en el mercado, al incrementar su influencia de forma coherente con su momento vital y ayudarles a asegurar que sus fortalezas, habilidades y conocimientos se convierten en una muralla frente al edadismo en el entorno VUCA que vivimos. Su trabajo se enfoca en tres líneas: mentoría ejecutiva, conferencias de alto impacto y consultoría estratégica en liderazgo inclusivo y gestión emocional, cuyo enfoque parte de una idea sencilla, pero poderosa: “liderar no es mandar; es escuchar, comprender y transformar con humanidad. El auténtico liderazgo comienza por uno mismo”.

Para Tecglen, plenamente entregada a las causas sociales que defiende a través de sus ONG y que combina con su trabajo en el ámbito ejecutivo, estos premios no representan un punto final, sino un nuevo impulso: “Los recibo con gratitud, pero también con responsabilidad. Porque liderar no es una causa social, es una necesidad estratégica para las organizaciones del presente y del futuro. La verdadera ventaja competitiva es que no se permita la fuga de talento por ninguna circunstancia”.
