La operadora de torres e infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones Cellnex, dará entrada a nuevos miembros en su consejo de administración para reforzar su estructura de gobernanza. Por un lado, el consejo de administración ha nombrado a Xavier Pujol, nuevo secretario general y secretario del mismo consejo. Además, ha acordado proponer a la Junta de Accionistas -que celebrará el próximo 9 de mayo en Madrid-, el nombramiento de Luis Mañas como nuevo consejero independiente
Xavier Pujol, asumirá las funciones propias de la secretaría general y de la secretaría del Consejo –reportando al Presidente del Consejo y al Consejero Delegado–, Cellnex completa los cambios en el órgano de dirección. Pujol se incorporará al comité el próximo 26 de mayo.
Xavier Pujol cuenta con 22 años de experiencia jurídica en fusiones y adquisiciones, mercados de capitales, gobierno corporativo, reestructuraciones y posiciones en consejos de administración. Se incorpora a Cellnex desde Alantra Partners. Anteriormente, fue Secretario General y del Consejo de Administración de PRISA, y previamente ejerció como abogado en Cuatrecasas y Latham & Watkins.
Luis Mañas, con una dilatada carrera profesional, ha ocupado diversos cargos de responsabilidad. Desde 2006 y hasta la actualidad, es consejero delegado de Arbitrage C&FM y, también, consejero independiente y presidente de la comisión de nombramientos y retribuciones de Santa Lucía Seguros. También ha sido consejero independiente y miembro del Comité de Auditoría de Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios, consejero y presidente de la Comisión de Riesgos e Inversiones, consejero y miembro de la Comisión Ejecutiva, de la Comisión de Nombramientos y de la Comisión de Retribuciones de Tubos Reunidos, así como asesor de Enagás.
