Babel impulsa el transporte sostenible al trabajo en Málaga fomentando servicios de movilidad compartida.

  • Los más de 280 profesionales que conforman la plantilla de Babel en Málaga podrán desplazarse a su lugar de trabajo minimizando su impacto ambiental, de forma gratuita o con descuentos ya que desde la compañía se incentivarán parte de los viajes realizados.
  • Con el impulso de esta iniciativa, Babel está contribuyendo a reducir el impacto y la huella medioambiental en la movilidad al trabajo, a la mejora del bienestar de sus empleados y fortalece el cumplimiento de la normativa en sostenibilidad.

Madrid, 5 de mayo de 2025-Babel, multinacional tecnológica española especializada en transformación digital, ha llegado a un acuerdo con la plataforma Hoop Carpool  para ofrecer servicios de movilidad compartida a sus profesionales.

Con el impulso de esta iniciativa, Babel está contribuyendo a reducir el impacto y la huella medioambiental en la movilidad al trabajo, así como a la mejora del bienestar de sus empleados y al fortalecimiento del cumplimiento de la normativa en sostenibilidad por parte de la compañía.

Babel mejora la experiencia laboral de sus profesionales, fomentando la movilidad compartida

En base a esta alianza, los 287 empleados de Babel ubicados en Málaga tendrán a su disposición los servicios de coche compartido de Hoop Carpool, una aplicación que permite a los empleados compartir coche optimizando la ocupación de los vehículos y, con ello, reduciendo tiempo, costes y emisiones.

De este modo, los empleados de Babel podrán desplazarse a su lugar de trabajo minimizando su impacto ambiental, de forma gratuita o con descuentos, ya que desde la compañía se incentivarán parte de los viajes realizados.  

Hoop Carpool ha sido la gran ganadora del Reto de Movilidad al Trabajo 2024, organizado por Las Rozas Innova y el Global Mobility Call (GMC) y Meep, en la categoría de Idea.

Por eso, al facilitarles opciones de movilidad compartida, no solo estamos aliviando la carga económica del transporte, sino también fomentando una cultura de sostenibilidad”, señala Carmen Castelló, Country Manager de Babel en España.

Hub global de servicios avanzados de ciberseguridad de Babel en Málaga

En octubre de 2024 Babel anunció el rediseño de sus oficinas en Málaga situadas en el Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía  (PTA) con un nuevo concepto que se adapta a las necesidades de los empleados de la compañía y al modelo de trabajo híbrido e hiperflexible. La sede malagueña es una de las oficinas principales de Babel en España, la segunda más importante por volumen de empleados -400- y que, además, aloja su hub de ciberseguridad. En España la compañía también cuenta con oficinas en Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla y Oviedo.

En concreto, el centro global e internacional de servicios avanzados de ciberseguridad de Babel en Málaga, con más de 200 especialistas, opera a nivel internacional todos los servicios de ciberseguridad en los 10 países donde la firma tiene presencia.
