Aurax, Bubbl3s y Calpech premiadas por ISS España como las mejores startups con impacto en los espacios de trabajo.

    • Junto a Wayra, Forética y Fundación máshumano, ISS España entrega estos galardones que premian a las startups que buscan impulsar cambios positivos en el workplace.
    • Estos premios reconocen las actividades que promueven la sostenibilidad ambiental, la humanización de los espacios o aplicar la tecnología para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas empleadas.
    • La entrega se realizó ayer en las oficinas de ISS España en San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona.

    Barcelona, 1 de octubre de 2025.-ISS España, empresa líder en integración de servicios, como limpieza, mantenimiento, workplace y Facility Management, ha premiado a las startups Aurax, Bubbl3s y Calpech en la segunda edición de los Premios ISS para Startups – Connecting through the Workplace, celebrada ayer en su sede de Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). Con estos galardones, la compañía reconoce la contribución social, económica y medioambiental de startups que generan un impacto positivo en los espacios de trabajo.

    Aurax obtuvo el premio a la Iniciativa de Workplace más innovadora en sostenibilidad social gracias a MouthX, un dispositivo hands free que permite a personas con movilidad reducida interactuar con móvil, ordenador y tableta mediante movimientos de lengua, mandíbula y cabeza. Funciona a través de Bluetooth y es personalizable para cada usuario mediante un escaneo dental previo. Además, ha llevado a cabo un ensayo clínico en el Hospital Univ. Vall d’Hebron de Barcelona con personas que padecen esclerosis múltiple.

    Por su parte, Bubbl3s, que ofrece un servicio bajo suscripción de purificación de aire utilizando microalgas como filtro natural, ha recibido el premio al Mejor Uso del Workplace para promover la sostenibilidad ambiental. Esta tecnología elimina contaminantes y olores, humidifica el ambiente y se distingue por generar cero residuos, ya que las microalgas usadas tienen una segunda vida, por ejemplo como fertilizante.

    Y como Mejor Iniciativa tecnológica vinculada al Workplace ha sido seleccionada Calpech, un spin off de la Universidad de Alicante que ha desarrollado una tecnología patentada que transforma residuos agrícolas en nanopartículas de hierro encapsuladas en carbono, mediante un proceso de carbonización hidrotermal, para su posterior comercialización.  

    Esta tecnología sostenible contribuye a la mejora de procesos industriales, reduce contaminantes, fomenta energías renovables, incrementa la producción de biogás y contribuye a la descontaminación de suelos, aguas y residuos.

    Premios con impacto social, ambiental y tecnológico

    Los Premios ISS para Startups – Connecting Through the Workplace cuentan con el respaldo de tres socios de referencia en sus respectivas áreas: Wayra, el Corporate Venture Capital de Telefónica, que ha formado parte de la categoría de ‘Mejor Iniciativa tecnológica’; Forética, organización referente en sostenibilidad y responsabilidad social empresarial en España, en la categoría de ‘Mejor Uso del Workplace para promover la sostenibilidad ambiental’, y la Fundación máshumano, entidad sin ánimo de lucro que tiene como propósito humanizar las empresas y la sociedad, para la categoría de ‘Mejor Iniciativa de Workplace más innovadora en sostenibilidad social’.

    “Desde el inicio quisimos que estos premios reconocieran y diesen visibilidad a las startups que están revolucionando el mundo laboral con soluciones innovadoras. Nuestro objetivo es destacar el emprendimiento como motor de desarrollo, no solo en el ámbito económico, sino también por su capacidad de generar transformaciones positivas en la sociedad”, señaló Javier Urbiola, presidente ejecutivo de ISS España, durante la entrega.

    Las candidaturas han sido evaluadas por un jurado de expertos de primer nivel, entre ellos Manuel Pimentel (Baker McKenzie’s y editor de AlmuzaraLibros), Cristina Garmendia (Fundación COTEC), Laura González-Molero (APD), Iñigo Sagardoy (Sagardoy Abogados) y Amparo Moraleda, consejera independiente en empresas internacionales.

    En la pasada edición, las startups premiadas fueron Fundación (H)arte, que recibió el ‘Premio a la iniciativa de Workplace más innovadora en Sostenibilidad Social’, por su propuesta de humanización de espacios sanitarios mediante el arte, Lumio, una plataforma virtual de intercambio de energía solar, en la categoría de Sostenibilidad Ambiental’. Y como ‘Mejor iniciativa Tecnológica vinculada al Workplace’ fue Payflow, una aplicación de bienestar financiero diseñada para mejorar la manera en que las personas empleadas acceden a su salario.

    Con esta iniciativa, ISS España, líder en integración de servicios (limpieza, mantenimiento, workplace y Facility Management), refuerza su compromiso con el talento emprendedor y la construcción de entornos laborales más humanos, sostenibles y eficientes.
