ALTIA, grupo tecnológico que lleva más de 30 años creando soluciones digitales, y Amicos, asociación dedicada a la integración de personas con discapacidad, han formalizado un convenio de colaboración que marca el inicio de una alianza estratégica orientada a generar un impacto real en el medioambiente y la inclusión social.
La firma del acuerdo, realizada por Xoán España, director general de Amicos, y Josefina Fernández, directora de Sostenibilidad & ESG de Altia, consolida el compromiso de la compañía tecnológica con un modelo de desarrollo más responsable y colaborativo.
El encuentro contó con la participación de directivos y profesionales de las distintas sedes gallegas de la compañía, quienes compartieron una jornada con Amicos en su Centro de Atención Integral de Boiro. Durante la visita, los equipos conocieron de primera mano las iniciativas que Amicos impulsa para promover la inclusión y la conservación del entorno.
“Esta colaboración simboliza el espíritu de Altia: unir innovación y compromiso social para generar impacto positivo y duradero”, destacó Josefina Fernández, directora de Sostenibilidad y ESG de Altia.
Como parte de la jornada, los participantes se sumaron a una acción de restauración marina en el marco del proyecto Cabalga, una iniciativa impulsada por el Instituto de Ciencias del Mar (CSIC), Amicos y varias cofradías de Galicia y Cataluña, orientada a la recuperación de ecosistemas bentónicos en el Mediterráneo y el Atlántico gallego. En el puerto de Aguiño, el equipo de Altia, guiado por los activistas ambientales de Amicos, participó en la reintroducción de 95 ejemplares de laminaria (kelp) en zonas del Parque Nacional das Illas Atlánticas, contribuyendo a la regeneración de un ecosistema esencial para la biodiversidad marina.
Xoan España, Director general de la Asociación Amicos, destacó la importancia de la colaboración: “Esta visita es muy importante para nosotros. A partir de hoy, esta también es vuestra casa. Gracias a Altia y a todo su equipo por unirse a la causa de Amicos: cuidar de las personas y del planeta. Es fundamental contar con corporaciones con alma y compromiso como la vuestra, que comparten nuestros valores.
