Abierto el plazo de inscripción para la Startup Competition de South Summit Madrid 2026.
South Summit, el principal encuentro para el ecosistema emprendedor e innovador a nivel mundial, ha abierto el plazo de registro para participar en la próxima Startup Competition de South Summit Madrid, la competición que cada año elige a las 100 startups más disruptivas e innovadoras del mercado. Los emprendedores interesados en participar pueden presentar sus candidaturas hasta el 15 de enero .
Un jurado compuesto por destacados inversores y expertos internacionales del ecosistema emprendedor seleccionará las 100 startups finalistas entre todos los proyectos presentados. Estos competirán por el título de ganador global en la Startup Competition de South Summit Madrid 2026 , co-organizado por IE University , que celebrará su decimoquinta edición del 3 al 5 de junio de 2026 en La Nave de Madrid.
Desde su primera edición en 2012, la Startup Competition de South Summit se ha consolidado como un escaparate internacional para que cientos de startups puedan darse a conocer ante inversores globales y grandes corporaciones. No es casualidad que las 1.134 startups finalistas de South Summit Madrid en todas sus ediciones hayan captado 17.894 millones de euros en inversión durante los últimos 14 años. De esta cifra, cerca del 60% corresponde a startups españolas, con 11.383 millones de euros, de los que el 40% (4.102 millones) atañen a proyectos de origen madrileño. Además, esta competición ha sido la cuna de 8 unicornios de éxito internacional, entre los que destacan Cabify, Factorial y JobandTalent.
Estas cifras crecen si se tienen en cuenta todas las ediciones internacionales de la Startup Competition, celebradas en distintos lugares del planeta como Porto Alegre (Brasil) o Suwon (Corea del Sur). Desde 2012, más de 1.500 startups finalistas de todas las ediciones de South Summit han levantado 19.585 millones de dólares en inversión, con una tasa de supervivencia del 85% y un total de 113 exits.
