Vueling repite como única aerolínea Top Employer 2025 en Europa.

- Esta prestigiosa distinción reconoce la labor desarrollada por la compañía en la estrategia de personas, ambiente de trabajo, aprendizaje, bienestar, diversidad o inclusión.
- Barcelona, 16 de enero de 2025 – Vueling, compañía perteneciente al grupo IAG, ha sido reconocida con el sello Top Employer 2025 por segundo año consecutivo y se consolida como la única aerolínea europea de pasajeros y la única aerolínea ‘low cost’ del mundo en obtener esta certificación.
- La compañía consolida así su compromiso con la excelencia en políticas y prácticas laborables y su liderazgo en la industria aérea, uniéndose a las 2.400 Top Employers reconocidas este año en 125 países en los cinco continentes.
- Esta prestigiosa distinción se basa en los resultados obtenidos por Vueling en el HR Best Practices Survey del programa Top Employers Institute, que engloba seis ámbitos de recursos humanos en 20 áreas como la estrategia de personas, el ambiente laboral, el talento, el aprendizaje, el bienestar, la diversidad e inclusión, entre otros.
- “La certificación Top Employer muestra nuestro compromiso con los empleados y nuestro interés por adaptarnos de manera efectiva a un entorno laboral en constante cambio”, explica Fernando Cuadra, director de Personas de Vueling.
- Vueling ha destacado por la labor desarrollada en la estrategia de negocio por la creación del plan estratégico Vueling Transform que tiene por objetivo construir una compañía capaz de afrontar los nuevos retos del futuro; también el propósito, valores, ética e integridad de la compañía en la cada uno de los empleados tiene objetivos colectivos e individuales, donde se comparten los éxitos y se valora el desempeño anual en base a sus comportamientos de acuerdo con nuestros valores.
- Otro aspecto significativo ha sido el plan de acción Cultural Transformation, que refuerza la búsqueda constante de la excelencia en la gestión de las personas e incluye programas de formación, desarrollo profesional y oportunidades de crecimiento dentro de la empresa, además de promover la escucha activa de las experiencias de los empleados a través de encuestas realizadas dos veces al año para poder evaluar el impacto de las acciones.
- En el ámbito del talento, desarrollo y performance, se ha tenido en cuenta como Vueling fomenta un ambiente de alto rendimiento y prioriza el crecimiento profesional y la movilidad interna, con un 55% de las vacantes cubiertas con talento interno. Asimismo, la aerolínea ha invertido más de 14.000 horas en programas de formación.
- La compañía ofrece también una experiencia de onboarding alineada con los valores corporativos para que los empleados entiendan desde el primer día la cultura y la estrategia de Vueling y se sientan parte de ello.
- La diversidad en Vueling también se considera un punto relevante en la estrategia del talento. La compañía ha creado grupos de trabajadores como Flying Free para fomentar la inclusión, y desde 2024 forma parte de REDI (Asociación Red Empresarial por la Diversidad e Inclusión LGBTI).
- Además de otros beneficios, los empleados disponen de acceso a la app Carpool, que facilita que puedan compartir coche en sus desplazamientos laborales, reduciendo así su huella de carbono.
- El liderazgo inclusivo es otro de los pilares fundamentales en Vueling, donde el 55% de las posiciones en el comité de dirección lo ocupan mujeres, incluyendo la CEO y presidenta de la compañía. Asimismo, en posiciones de dirección y gerencia los roles ocupados por mujeres llegan al 40,3%. A nivel global, la plantilla de la compañía está formada por un 51,2% de mujeres. Vueling promueve, además, un entorno laboral en el que todas las personas puedan expresarse con libertad para desplegar todo su potencial.
