Con cerca de 1.000 fabricantes, la mayoría pequeñas empresas familiares, el sector joyero cordobés genera más de 15.000 empleos directos e indirectos. La ciudad concentra alrededor del 60 % de la producción nacional y exporta más del 70 % de sus piezas a mercados internacionales como Francia, Estados Unidos y Emiratos Árabes. Córdoba no solo crea joyas: crea reputación, estilo y cultura.

La marca Joyería de Córdoba sigue avanzando hacia la obtención de la Indicación Geográfica Protegida (IGP), un reconocimiento que certificará el origen, la calidad y la autenticidad de cada pieza y garantizará la protección de los artesanos y empresas frente a la competencia desleal. Este sello representa un paso decisivo para reforzar la identidad de la joyería cordobesa y su valor diferencial en el mercado internacional.

Del 11 al 14 de septiembre, Córdoba mostrará su propuesta en MadridJoya 2025, la feria más relevante del sector. El stand instalado por el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba se convertirá en punto de encuentro.
