8/9/2025: El último informe del Observatorio de Riesgos Laborales del Instituto de Seguridad y Bienestar Laboral(ISBL) confirma una realidad preocupante: las mujeres sufren con mayor frecuencia los efectos colaterales de la falta de bienestar emocional en el trabajo, en comparación con los hombres.
Los datos, recogidos en una encuesta aplicada a 522 trabajadoras y trabajadores en España, revelan que:
62,5% de las mujeres padece desgaste emocional, frente al 42,3% de los hombres.
54,8% de ellas presenta problemas de salud física asociados al trabajo (dolores de cabeza, espalda, insomnio, tensión muscular).
12,6% experimenta sobrecarga de trabajo casi siempre y un 10,3% agotamiento físico frecuente.
También destacan síntomas como saturación mental (12,3%), dolores de cabeza (9,2%) e insomnio (10%).
La brecha es amplia y evidente en todos los indicadores: las mujeres trabajadoras reportan mayores niveles de desgaste emocional, somatización y alienación laboral, mientras que los hombres, aunque menos afectados, refieren con más frecuencia trato frío o distante y cierta frustración en el ámbito laboral.
Un dato especialmente revelador es que las mujeres obreras o trabajadoras manuales son las más afectadas, lo que apunta a la necesidad de diseñar medidas preventivas específicas para los colectivos más vulnerables.
En cuanto al perfil de los participantes, el 58,8% cuenta con estudios de posgrado (máster), un 41% trabaja en el sector servicios y consultoría, y la mayoría acumula entre 21 y 30 años de experiencia laboral. Sin embargo, persiste una brecha educativa: mientras todos los hombres tienen al menos estudios de bachillerato, un 0,4% de mujeres solo alcanzó la educación primaria.

Los hallazgos del Observa PRL.org son claros: la falta de bienestar emocional tiene consecuencias más severas en las mujeres trabajadoras y requiere de políticas empresariales con enfoque de género.
