Eurofragance nombra a un nuevo CEO para 2026.

Barcelona, 14 de febrero de 2025 – La casa de fragancias Eurofragance,ha desvelado el nombramiento de un nuevo Chief Executive Officer (CEO) para el próximo año. A partir del 1 de enero de 2026, Joan Pere Jiménez, actual Chief Market Officer, asumirá el cargo de CEO. Laurent Mercier, quien ocupa la posición desde 2018, seguirá liderando la empresa hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2025, y asumirá un nuevo rol dentro del Consejo de Administración a partir de 2026. 

En esta nueva etapa, Jiménez tomará el relevo de Mercier para continuar con la implementación del plan estratégico en marcha y fortalecer el crecimiento global de Eurofragance.

Este proceso de sucesión, planificado desde el año 2023, se desarrollará durante todo el año 2025 para garantizar una transferencia fluida de responsabilidades y la continuidad de la visión estratégica de la empresa.

Un liderazgo que ha transformado Eurofragance

Laurent Mercier se incorporó a Eurofragance en 2013 y, desde entonces, ha desempeñado cargos de máxima responsabilidad ejecutiva, primero como Global Business Director y, desde 2018, como CEO, sucediendo en el cargo al presidente y fundador, Santiago Sabatés.

Bajo su liderazgo, Eurofragance ha experimentado una profunda transformación que la ha consolidado como una compañía global y un referente en la industria de las fragancias, alcanzando de manera continua desde 2021 un crecimiento anual por encima del 20%, y obteniendo una rentabilidad de doble dígito. Un relevo interno con conocimiento y experiencia

Joan Pere Jiménez cuenta con una trayectoria de más de diez años en Eurofragance. Se incorporó a la compañía como Chief Operations Officer y ha ocupado diversos cargos de responsabilidad dentro del Comité de Dirección, incluyendo el de director de negocio para la región de Europa, África y Turquía hasta 2021, y después de Asia Pacífico hasta finales de 2023. Desde enero de 2024, ha desempeñado el cargo de Chief Market Officer, función que mantendrá hasta el final de 2025.
