El Hospital del Vinalopó, primera empresa sanitaria de España en conseguir el Distintivo de Empresa Saludable del Instituto de Seguridad y Bienestar Laboral.
Expertos han valorado las distintas iniciativas orientadas hacia el cuidado de la salud y seguridad de los profesionales, su bienestar y felicidad dentro de la compañía.
Elche, 09 de junio de 2025. El Hospital Universitario del Vinalopó, gestionado por el grupo sanitario Ribera, ha sido reconocido con el Distintivo de Empresa Saludable, otorgado por el Instituto de Seguridad y Bienestar Laboral (ISBL), tras un riguroso proceso de evaluación externa. Se trata del primer centro sanitario en España que obtiene este importante sello que reconoce el compromiso de la organización con la salud, el bienestar y la seguridad de sus profesionales.
La evaluación de los expertos ha valorado las distintas iniciativas que el centro promueve a través de su proyecto Ribera Life, un programa orientado a cuidar de los profesionales, además de favorecer su bienestar y felicidad dentro de la compañía. Todo ello desde el punto de vista de la salud física, emocional, profesional, financiera, de equipo y social. Además, ha destacado la implicación de la Dirección y la participación del conjunto de profesionales en iniciativas de salud, prevención de riesgos laborales, promoción del entorno laboral positivo, liderazgo saludable, conciliación y comunicación. La auditoría se ha llevado a cabo a través de un análisis del modelo del ISBL estructurado en diez criterios clave, que permiten valorar la implantación real y sostenible del modelo de empresa saludable.
Según Agustín Sánchez-Toledo Ledesma, Director del Instituto de Seguridad y Bienestar Laboral, “este reconocimiento pone de manifiesto el compromiso del Departamento de Salud del Vinalopó con un modelo de gestión que sitúa a las personas en el centro, integra el bienestar en la estrategia organizativa y avanza hacia una cultura saludable, sostenible y con visión de futuro”. Para el doctor Rafael Carrasco, Director Gerente del Departamento de Salud del Vinalopó, “obtener este distintivo es el resultado del esfuerzo colectivo de nuestros profesionales y de una apuesta decidida por promover un entorno laboral basado en el respeto, la salud y el compromiso compartido. Este logro nos impulsa a seguir mejorando día a día”.
La compañía ha alcanzado la categoría Plata de este sello que acredita una gestión avanzada en materia de bienestar organizacional y refuerza la posición del Departamento de Salud del Vinalopó como referente en la implementación de políticas que ponen a las personas en el centro de la organización.
Sobre el programa Ribera Life
El Hospital Universitario del Vinalopó y los centros de salud del Departamento desarrollan acciones para fomentar el ejercicio físico en el entorno de trabajo con competiciones deportivas como pádel o atletismo; promueve una alimentación equilibrada con el menú saludable diario en la cafetería y el obsequio de desayunos en diferentes servicios; apuesta por la eliminación de hábitos nocivos a través del aula de deshabituación tabáquica; y también por el cuidado de la salud mental mediante el programa de atención emocional para profesionales.
Por otro lado, el centro desarrolla una política de prevención de riesgos en el trabajo con formación específica en esta materia y estudios en ergonomía, psicosociología e higiene industrial; ofrece flexibilidad laboral incluyendo la adaptación de horarios, turnos, permisos laborales, etc.; fomenta del desarrollo profesional a través del plan de carrera o las promociones internas; y mantiene un firme compromiso con la diversidad mediante el plan de igualdad. A nivel financiero, se han valorado cuestiones como el salario y el plan de incentivación con el que cuenta la compañía o el programa de retribución flexible, así como los descuentos exclusivos por ser empleado Ribera. Por último, la compañía apuesta por la comunicación interna, el clima laboral y la responsabilidad social, con la puesta en marcha de concursos internos, detalles y regalos corporativos, eventos de ocio fuera del trabajo, acciones como el “café con el gerente” o su política de despachos con puertas abiertas; así como diferentes acciones de voluntariado corporativo.
