    Puente Nuevo, 30 de julio de 2025 – El STEAM Basket Camp, que se celebra en el Campus Puente Nuevo de Naturgy, ha vivido hoy una jornada repleta de energía, aprendizaje y experiencias únicas para sus participantes.

    La mañana comenzó con una masterclass de baloncesto impartida por Fran Murcia, exjugador profesional de baloncesto, quien compartió con las jóvenes deportistas los tres “superpoderes” para destacar en el deporte: técnica, fuerza y pasión. Durante dos intensas horas, las niñas trabajaron el bote, el lanzamiento a canasta y la preparación física, finalizando la sesión con un refrescante baño en la piscina. Posteriormente, durante la comida, Fran compartió anécdotas de su etapa profesional.

    Por la tarde, Murcia ofreció una charla de nutrición para pequeñas deportistas, abordando la importancia de una alimentación equilibrada para potenciar el rendimiento y la salud. Explicó conceptos clave como el papel de la microbiota, la elección de alimentos saludables en el supermercado y la función de los micronutrientes y macronutrientes en el cuerpo. La sesión concluyó con un animado “baile saludable”.

    La jornada continuó con una inspiradora actividad a cargo de Quest Global, liderada por Balbina López, directora de Recursos Humanos, junto a su equipo de talento e ingeniería, Alejandra Escalera, Marco Martín y Guillermo Izquierdo. Las participantes reflexionaron sobre el significado de STEAM, los roles de género y la importancia de tener referentes, escuchando la historia personal de Balbina como ejemplo de superación.

    Finalmente, las niñas participaron en un taller de cohetes de agua, aplicando la tercera ley de Newton para diseñar y lanzar sus propios prototipos, experimentando de primera mano los principios de la física y el trabajo en equipo.
